Nour El Din is an Egyptian documentary filmmaker, cinematographer and photographer whose work explores the relationship between people, place and the natural world.

Growing up in Sinai shaped an early fascination with landscapes, movement and the communities that inhabit them. Before filmmaking became his profession, that curiosity took him across Egypt; cycling solo for 100 days, kayaking the length of Lake Nasser and spending years exploring the mountains and deserts of Sinai.

For more than a decade, that same instinct has shaped his work. From documenting Bedouin communities in Sinai and farmers in Upper Egypt to expeditions in the Himalayas and commercial productions across Saudi Arabia, he is drawn to stories rooted in real people and the environments they inhabit.

Working across documentary filmmaking, cinematography and photography, Nour moves between intimate human stories and demanding outdoor productions, often working independently or with small crews in remote environments.

Based in Egypt, he works across the Middle East and internationally on documentaries, branded films and visual campaigns.
